Great value. Lovely friendly staff. Perfect location and everything very clean
Only complaint was the water in the shower was not very warm
Excellent stay at Manchester Motel One. Compact room but very comfortable bed with pristine bedding. Great shower with beautiful towels. Very quiet room. Excellent continental breakfast. Very good value for money!!
Only thing that could be improved is to provide a non slip mat in the shower as the base felt slippy when in the shower.
The hotel is in a great location and next to transport links. The check in was very quick and the staff were also very nice. The room was very clean and quiet for a hotel of this size. The only thing we had an issue with was the heat in the room. We could not put it any lower than 18 degrees and the window was faulty and would not open. The room got very warm and there was no way to cool it down. I would definitely stay at this hotel again though as it was nicely decorated, quiet and the staff were great. I would also like to mention the bar is reasonably priced and actually cheaper than the other bars we visited in Manchester.

Tristemente en esta ocasión he pasado mucho frío en la habitación. Al pasar del pasillo a mi habitación se notaba enseguida el cambio en la temperatura. Llegué a comentarlo 3 veces con el personal de recepción y me dijeron que el servicio de mantenimiento les había dicho que todo funcionaba bien, aunque me resultaba imposible subir la temperatura de la habitación. Finalmente tenía que pedir una segunda funda nórdica porque el hotel tampoco disponía de calentadores portátiles. Es una pena porque por lo demás todo estaba como estoy acostumbrada cada vez que me alojo en un hotel de la cadena.

Our 2nd stay at Motel One Royal Exchange. I cannont think of a better location for a shopping weekend in Manchester!

It was a lovely stay, room was clean and decor acceptable standard. Couldn't open window. Cost was very fair.
All good apart from your booking system failing to provide an invoice which I request verbally on check in and then have to email in to request again.
The heating in the room wasn't perfect but the staff can override it sorted it in a few mins. Apart from that...perfect. The room and the hotel in general were very clean. It wasn't too expensive, it had on site parking and best of all was the location. Difficult to fault.
Great location, friendly and efficient staff. The room was small and pretty cold when we arrived and took a long time to heat up. Breakfast was ok but quite limited

The small compact room was cold. The tv signal was terrible and normal channels were unwatchable. The bar staff were very pleasant and staff generally seemed friendly and helpful
Finally stayed at the third Manchester hotel, and like the other two, this did not disappoint!
Had a lovely time here, me and my partner came for a concert and had such a welcoming time at the hotel. The cheese toastie is to die for.
Generally nice but I was very surprised how small the room was and how limited the breakfast was. No hot food at all. I've had bigger rooms and better breakfasts at a Premier Inn!

We were given the wrong room but that was quickly resolved. The room we ended up with was a bit cold and the thermostat didn't seem to work. Very nice staff. Quiet hotel and excellent bed.
Great staff, both at reception and bar. Special mention to Maguy and Michael who were so very helpful and approachable. We must also thank Adrian, who immediately went to check out our safe and got it back into working condition. Excellent ambience throughout.
I was very happy with my stay. A great price for the location and the room. I would absolutely consider booking again.
Had a fantastic time the property is beautiful, few hiccups trying to find parking but the lovely Darren helped me on the phone
Staff lovely as always, room clean and comfortable. However I stayed 2 nights and on the Saturday there were some extremely loud, inconsiderate guests in another room making noise until the early hours of the morning. A member of staff came up to speak to them at about 11:30pm but they didn't stop and nothing further was done about them. I was extremely tired the following day and it affected my weekend plans. I wasn't very happy with the lack of concern that they were disrupting other people. Lower room score below due to noise issue.
It was clean, but it was far too noisy for me.
Fantastic location, could not get better. Love the bar area and staff were very friendly. The reason I have not scored it a 10 is due to the size of the room. The twin room was small.

The hotel was lovely and clean with a great bar area but the receptionist wasn’t very helpful. She gave us no info on breakfast or check out times etc. She also tried to charge us for our room when we’d already paid.The hotel room itself was quite small so wouldn’t want to stay there longer than 1-2 nights. Breakfast is disappointing with only being continental. Hotel is in a great location.
I arranged my hen do in Manchester and selected Motel One for my friends to stay at! Location is great & bar area lovely! However the staff on this visit were sooo friendly and hospitable! Especially Darren on reception! We had some ‘characters’ in our group & Darren was very friendly and fun…whilst still maintaining good professional standards! He is a credit to the hotel! Thanks, I will be back to stay as a married woman with my husband!

Check in and out was very easy, room allocated was great - quiet, top floor, end of the corridor - perfect for me!
The communal areas were lovely, but my room was not great. The bathroom had a smell, the room felt basic too and a little dirty. The usb port was loose and would only work if there was pressure holding it in. I couldn’t adjust the temperature either. So this left me panicking as I had no option to charge my phone. Our PA had booked and paid for the hotel, but apparently the hotel had no notification that there was payment, therefore I have to paid £89 for a room, which was not ideal as we have an internal booking system and claiming back it difficult.
A great location, minutes from Victoria station and well priced t stay over for a football game ! Rooms are clean and service was good, especially reception staff
Zeer vriendeljik ontvangen door de dame bij de receptie. Kamer was ook prima in order. Ontbijt was prima voor elkaar met veel keus. Alleen jammer dat bij de bar er geen tapbier is.
Location is second to none, the staff were accomodating in every aspect and very friendly.
top lage, sauber, gut eingerichtet. ein zweiter Abfalleimer im Zimmer wäre recht nützlich :)
The room was clean and comfortable, just what I needed for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was very expensive for a very basic cold continential style buffet.
This is a lovely hotel, beautiful decor, lovely spotless room with a very comfortable bed. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and a very welcome drink at the bar

I found that the hotel was nice, and the staff were friendly. I was disappointed that my room didn't feel particularly clean. The bathroom felt fine, but the room itself didn't feel freshly cleaned and honestly felt a bit outdated (unlike the bathroom). My kettle wasn't working, and the switches on the lights felt sticky. I was also disappointed that the beds were two singles, as I had thought I had booked a king. Overall I was checked in quickly, didn't pay too much, slept fine, had a mildly warm shower, and the staff were friendly, so I'd say that my stay was 5/10.
