The expereince was incredible, A Venezuelan employee helped me, explained everything, was super nice, and really made a difference in my stay.
I love your hotel. It would be nice to gave an electric kettle in the room to prepare tea etc
Very nice breakfast and lounge. Some ham (Krakauer) at breakfast tasted weird/sour (could be old or simply particular selection). I really like the eggs at Motel One, always the same and almost perfect. Rooms are ok, cleaning could be a bit better (overall ok, sometimes still see some old hairs which lowers the overall score for me). Showers are sometimes not that great because of pressure but I guess that's common issue in hotels and probably depends on time of the day (once everyone starts showering everything drops ...)

Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was clean and very comfortable.
Excelent service on arrival, clean rooms, good breakfast.
Reasonably good expect the WiFi, which is mandatory these days. The WiFi was not working when I arrived late in the evening, causing issues. Then after I advised the reception the following morning it started to work back.

All the staff I dealt with were super friendly, my room was small but Clean, perfect if you only stay one night. The best was comfortable. For me the room was somewhat to warm, but it was ok.i just opened the window for a few minutes and it was fine after that. As the room was ground level and just by the road I didn't want to keep the window open. Location was convenient just a few minutes from Munich east station, so would be perfect for getting to the airport or on a train to the mountains.
Very comfortable. However, we had booked with another couple for the same price rooms. We felt slightly cheated as they had a larger room overlooking the courtyard and we had a room onto the main road with not much space at the foot of the bed to pass.
There is nothing that I can criticise! You know what you are generally going to get with a Motel One and the Haidhausen hotel, where I regularly stay, is a good example. The new mattresses have made a difference over the last couple of years. The bar area is as nice as ever and the soundproofing on the room is very good considering that the hotel lies on a very busy crossroads. Thanks!
Very friendly staff, hotel was very clean. Shower ran very hot every few minutes, no coffee available in room.
Normally I'm not very susceptive to noise while staying in hotels - yet in my room at Motel One Haidhausen, that turned out to be a problem. I heard both the elevator engines starting and stopping in the night, and people talking on the corridor and opening / closing doors. My night was not really pleasant due to this. Checkin / checkout and breakfast were as expected, ok.
Very comfortable, the sound proofing is excellent Lobby/ restaurant area is comfortable, homy and pleasant One negative thing though is that housekeeping knock on the door and enter, though they should know room is occupied when they see key in the slot.

The hotel looks great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the fact that I was allowed to stay in my room until 1pm, instead of 12pm, to accommodate a business call in a quiet space. However, I did not sleep at all the first night because it was much much too hot in the room. The hotel must find a way to improve the ventilation system, I felt like there was no air and I was suffocating, it was very uncomfortable. A technician put the thermostat on 18 degrees and low power which he said should work, but it didn't do anything, I couldn't feel any air coming in, and it was still way too hot (I would guess probably around 23-25 degrees). The 2nd night, I was able to sleep with the window wide open, which helped.
Room and hotel were good - as usual with MotelOne. But service (particularly reception) was far (!) below other MotelOnes we have stayed. Staff was overwhelmed with just a few check ins which resulted in long waiting times. Luggage that was left after check-out was left unattended right in front of the door for at least 20 mins. Just not good service!
Great hotel, just a few mins walk from Ostbahnhof station, and with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Staff were great, and friendly.

The hotel was perfect for my short business trip to Munich. Location was very convenient for me, the room had everything I needed, the staff was very friendly and helpful, I could even check in early. Breakfast was good, I appreciated the plant-based milk alternatives. Many thanks, would be happy to come back!
Great conditions, nice staff, the room was also ok. Breakfast was good as well. One thing I didn't like was the small blanket.
I booked for one night for a single person. Great: + Warm welcome, helped with keeping my luggage for the day + Modern, spacious and clean room + Comfortable bed + Room was next to the intersection, but I didn't hear the cars Could be improved: - Only a single person blanket for the king size bed?? - Room was in front of the elevator, the room wasn't soundproof. I could hear the elevator all night. - No door for the shower, water went everywhere - Maybe add thin curtains to let the light pass, but add privacy from outside view
I personally would love body lotion in the room .

Clean room, convenient check in and check out
In our first floor room we found that we had to keep the window shut as the noise, and smell of cigarette smoke from people chatting and smoking at the outside tables filtered into the room. Also noticed on this visit that quite a few of the coffee mugs were chipped
Everything was very good. The only problem is that I asked and was not explained about my free breakfast (membership) when I arrived, so I could not use my voucher and I won´t be able to do so in the near future.
The rooms incl. the bathroom are just too small. I liked the safe on the room, the complimentary water and the overall styling of the hotel. The room was clean and tidy.
Dejligt budget hotel. Reception, bar, værelse og morgenmad levere bedre end man vil forvente. Fair pris..
This is a nice hotel in a good location, walkable to the old town. The room was clean and the facilities were up to date.
Had signed up for the B1 program to get free breakfast, but then was told it would have to be used on a future booking. I’m not from Germany or Europe, so this is very unlikely that I would be back at one anytime soon to use it so this was very disappointing. I also had emailed in advance to confirm that the hotel showers had shampoo and conditioner, which they did not! if I had known this, I would have brought my own. Women’s hair needs conditioner!

This is my third time staying at this particular hotel in Munich. Always a warm welcome, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere within the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and always guaranteed to have a peaceful nights sleep.
Excellent customer service checking in. The room was compact but all the key areas were excellent - bed comfort, shower temperature and power and soundproofing. Did not have any breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the location was walking distance to the Metro. It was a great place to stay during Oktoberfest!
I loved my room on the 7th floor, the staff was super friendly and top supporting (breakfast service - so kind and comforting), the hotel is in a remarkable shape and look - I am travelling a lot for business in Europe and the world, but I was really positively surprised by the Motel One Haidhausen. I will come back, thank you for the wonderful stay I had.
The room has bare essentials. No frig and no electric kettle. Minimum hangers Tight bathroom space The location of the safe (part of the night stand) was a challenge . You have to squat down on your hands and knees to open the safe. The air conditioning was not effective and did little to cool the room.
All and all a pleasant staff and location. Haidhausen seems a more low key part of Munich. It is pretty quick to get to big tourist spots like Marienplatz and the Wiesn from the Ostbahnof station. But for my money, I would recommend taking the time to stroll around the Haidhausen neighborhood and see what you can find. Also, I want to highlight if you have the MotelOne app, do look into their city guides, I went to Giorgia Trattoria —which was recommended, and it was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The decor was also a bit eclectic. There is also a local brewpub across the street —Camba, more American style than Munich, but still a good time. I also recommend the rooftop bar at Dachgarten auf dem Gasteig, if you can climb the stairs you’ll be treated to a great view. Also Zum Brünnstein for a more authentic Munich cuisine and atmosphere.
A clean tidy room on the top floor. Extremely efficient welcome checkin. Easy access to good restaurants and city.
Very nice hotel located close to the Ostbahnhof. The lounge area is so chic and the staff are really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good and there are many restaurants nearby to choose from. The room is small but adequate. Providing a dustbin in the room in addition to the one in the bathroom would be nice. It was a great stay, we would come back!
Generally very nice to stay with you, but the WLAN should connect automatically throughout your stay and there should be a small kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. A fitness / wellness area would be the cherry on the cake :-)

Late arrival for 3 rooms and getting into the parking with 2 cars was not a good expérience at all The desk counter was not speaking english at all and was alone for the desk and the bar with too many clients

Vores hotel i München-Haidhausen ligger centralt mellem Ostbahnhof og Rosenheimer Platz og er intet mindre end vores tiende hotel i byen! Går turen til München, får du altså virkelig svært ved at vælge, for alle vores ti billige designhoteller har hver deres unikke og attraktive profil. Vores tiende hotel befinder sig i en af Münchens mest traditionsrige og charmerende bydele. I det 17. århundrede husede Haidhausen først og fremmest byens arbejderklasse. Herudover har Haidhausen været udslagsgivende for udviklingen af Münchens berømte bryghus- og biergarten-kultur, idet de lokale bryggerier brugte de hvælvede kælderrum langs Isarfloden til lagring af deres øl. I dag er kvarteret dog ikke kun kendt for sin veludviklede ølkultur, men også for finkultur: her finder du nemlig kulturcentret Gasteig, der bl.a. huser Münchens symfoniorkester. Allerlængst oppe på bakken ligger Bayerns landdag, Maximilianeum, det vil sige det lokale parlament. Kort sagt skorter det ikke på seværdigheder i nærheden af hotellet
Hurtigt quizspørgsmål: Hvorfor kaldes Haidhausen også for det franske kvarter? I dag ligger der rent faktisk virkelig mange franske restauranter og butikker her. Men dette er dog ikke den egentlige grund til kælenavnet, der derimod skyldes, at gaderne rundt om Ostbahnhof blev navngivet efter steder/slagmarker fra den tysk-franske krig i 1870/71, hvor tyskerne sejrede. Denne navngivningstrend ligger bl.a. til grund for stednavnene Orleansplatz, Belfort- og Lothringerstraße samt Pariser Platz. Når det gælder indretningsdesignet på vores hotel i Haidhausen, har vi i høj grad også ladet os inspirere af den franske kultur, der går igen i både farvevalg og vægkunst. Hertil kommer små detaljer, der hylder det charmerende håndværker- og kunstnerkvarter. Hvis du f.eks. bemærker en vis lighed mellem loungens rumdelere af smedejern og kvarterets elegante, gamle balkoner, er dette ikke nogen tilfældighed. Men Haidhausen har selvfølgelig meget mere at byde på end historiske huse. Når du har spist dig mæt i vores alsidige og økologiske morgenmadsbuffet, bør du derfor afgjort begive dig ud for at udforske kvarteret nærmere. Og du behøver ikke at spare på kilometerne eller kræfterne, for om aftenen venter dit behagelige hotelværelse på dig med et varmt brusebad og en himmelsk boxseng med springmadras.
Mangler du fortsat at planlægge dagens program? Det er ingen sag med hjælp fra vores gratis wi-fi og venlige personale. Centrum og den gamle bydel nås nemt med offentlig transport fra vores billige hotel i Haidhausen. Gennem Rosenheimer Platz og Ostbahnhof har du direkte adgang til alle S-togslinjer og U-bahnnetværket. Marienplatz, Viktualienmark og hovedbanegården ligger kun få minutter væk, og det samme gælder festpladsen Theresienwiese – altså højst relevant for alle fans af Oktoberfest! Skal du videre til München Lufthavn? Med S-bahn forløber transporten mellem hotellet og lufthavnen nemt og hurtigt. Står der sightseeing på programmet? Så kan du også vælge at spadsere ind til byen gennem Rosenheimer Straße. Rosenheimer Straße fører ned til Isar og bymidten via kulturcentret Gasteig. Her finder du desuden Müller'sche Volksbad, der er en af Europas smukkeste badeanstalter i jugendstil. Her svømmer du dine baner i en historisk kulisse, der ophøjer selv den mest sjuskede crawl til rendyrket elegance. Ingen vandhund? Så udforsk i stedet Deutsches Museum lige overfor.
Hvis du trænger til en bid mad oven på en begivenhedsrig dag fuld af sightseeing, shopping eller måske anstrengende forretningsmøder, behøver du heldigvis ikke at gå langt. Den hyggelige og jordnære bydel Haidhausen rummer nemlig masser af værtshuse, spisehuse, restauranter, caféer og barer, så mulighederne for en god middag eller et let måltid er mange. Drømmer du om at opleve bydelens autentiske kultur? Så er der flere traditionsrige begivenheder at vælge imellem. På Mariahilfsplatz kan du f.eks. besøge den årlige folkefest Auer Dult, komplet med boder og tivoliforlystelser, mens Weißenburger Platz om vinteren forvandles til et af Münchens mest populære julemarkeder.
