Great position, beautiful room and restroom. Comfortable bed and bed linen. Friendly and welcoming staff. It would be easy for you to be perfect. Three things were not ok: 1. The restroom door was not closing correctly, not ok for a hotel of this level. 2. The dirty reused paper card to grab the free nice bottle of water in the bar, on one hand, a nice gesture, but with this card, you lost quality perception. 3. Cleaning cloths lying on the floor in the corridor in front of our room, all the time during our stay.
In general the hotel is situated in a great area, the room is comfortable, clean and offers everything you could need from a small budget city hotel. The reception / check-in experience is not great - it's tucked into the corner without enough check-in staff so I had to wait for ages to check in. One member of staff was seemingly dealing with an online reservations issue, the other with a customer who was taking ages. Further, we had a blackout of electricity in the evening which didn't allow us to use the lift or any electrics within the room. The staff were not proactive in informing us of what the issue was or even that the power was out in the room or that the bar on the roof was closed, I only found this out when I had climbed the 4 storeys. For all I knew it was just the lifts and lobby that had power issues.
Great location, very comfortable room. It was a perfect place to stay for a short visit, close to nice attractions but not too crowded. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
bar staff wasnt friendly. power cut in the hotel - no apologises. we ordered a drink and they served and then said we need to leave in 10min clean rooms
MotelOne in Rotterdam is allways good. However, this stay was not the best of my stays: The bed in room 412 was rather small for two adults. Friday night (July 11) the power went out in the neighborhood and the rooms and elevator were without power. I know that MotelOne was not responsible for the power outage, but it would have been good service with SMS information and status for the guests.

Wonderful hotel. All the staff, from the front desk to the bar/breakfast room were very helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean and a good size. A very relaxing stay.

I really liked it, welcoming, the service was nice, the design is not exaggerated but beautiful. The Motel is the middle of very busy area but with widows closed you hear no sound from outside. Just one thing was the mosquitoes in the Room sometimes
Nice Team, Had A great welcome
we have reserved two rooms for the same price ; one was ok but the other was very small and not at the same level of the first one. We asked to change the room but they don't do it. We ask for a discount but they don't do it. Finally I changed the room with my colleague We have done the reservation many months ago so they had enough time I apologise but this is the motivation. Best
Bed was large and comfortable. Room was far too small for a comfortable 3 night stay. No tea / coffee making facilities. Roof top lounge and outside terraces were very nice and comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food and snacks were very limited.
Best hotel I’ve stayed at so far in the Netherlands. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and in a very convenient location. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the absence of a fridge in the room, which was a bit surprising.
Clean, modern hotel in a great location. Very friendly and professional staff —especially Tess at the reception, who is always welcoming and super friendly when I arrive. Rooftop Bar is also very nice and worth a visit. I stay there on a regular basis and can definitely recommend the location!

It’s a very nice hotel with a good atmosphere. Rooms are specious enough to walk around the bed or take a comfortable shower. There is shampoo/ shower gel available if you forgot your own. We had a multi night stay and the housekeeping is very tidy. With great weather I can recommend to go for a G&T one night stay the rooftop.

Super friendly staff, both in reception and at the restaurant. Amazing breakfast, with lots of gluten free options, including gluten free bread. Beautiful terrace. The location is great. I think it’s a fair price.
It did the job, clean. For the price space was a challenge and the mattress quality was poor. Both my wife and I did not sleep well!

We loved the Rotterdam hotel, staff, location and vibe! Our room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and efficient. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of different options to eat. The lounge in the evening had a warm and welcoming staff, especially Varney.. I did find it frustrating that the television was centered around the German stations; no programing information for the local channels. We were NOT in Germany... so this was a waste of our time.. and not cute or hip or funny. Just annoying. You should make sure that all of your customers have adequate coverage regarding television options. The largest fault we found with our stay was the housekeeping. When you have a guest that is staying for a longer period of time, you should expect your room to be serviced no later than 1pm. That was not the case. Numerous times I would end up having to search for staff down in the hall and ask for at least clean towels. It was not uncommon for the room to be serviced around 3-4pm, which is too late for a staying guest... We had to pass on cleaning several times because of that.

Motel One was such a pleasant surprise — new, modern and the room was well appointed. I have no negatives to report. Just one suggestion for improvement would be to have a coffee maker in the room or have coffee in the lobby in the morning hours for added convenience. I knew when I booked the room that coffee would not be available, but it would be value added if it was available.

Very modern and nice hotel, excellent location, friendly staff, nice bar. Only (minor) downsides are rooms on the small side and no restaurant for evening meals.

Tamhle je tržnice Markthal, vidíte ji? Jen tři minuty chůze a už stojíte před působivým obloukem, snad největší podkovou v celém Nizozemsku. Nejvyšší čas na selfíčko. Doufáme, že máte hlad. Návštěva tržnice Markthal s plným žaludkem totiž není na místě. Po dobrém jídle je na řadě Oude Haven. Ve starém přístavu se budete cítit jako Jack Sparrow. Klasické hospůdky vás navnadí na whisky a rum. Staré čluny lákají k projížďce. A krásné hrázděné domy vyprávějí příběhy z dob dávno minulých. Další poutavé příběhy z historie mořeplavby na vás čekají v Námořním muzeu, které je od vašeho hotelu v Rotterdamu vzdáleno pouhých pět minut. Zpět do současnosti: komplex budov Kubuswoningen hvězdného architekta Pieta Bloma vás vrátí do přítomného okamžiku. Jak se asi bydlí v kubických domech ze 70. let? Můžete to zjistit při prohlídce.
Po cestě zpátky do hotelu si ještě můžete udělat krátkou zastávku u Erasmova mostu a pohladit si rotterdamskou „labuť“. Přesně tak totiž místní obyvatelé říkají smyslně zakřivené konstrukci architekta Bena van Berkela. Ještě poslední selfíčko a pak už se můžete těšit na svůj druhý domov v Rotteramu.
