Beautiful rooms and lobby, outstanding staff. Perfect!
the reason why it doesn't receive a 10 from my side is that the room was way too hot and the AC wouldn't be turned on until the beginning of May. opening the window wasn't really an option either as out room was located right next to the highway, which is super noisy with open windows. for the last day of our stay we received a different room on the other side of the building and a breakfast voucher. The staff was very nice and helpful and apart from being next to a highway the location is very convenient in a nice neighborhood, close to public transports
I booked this hotel because of the parking space. But when I got there was no parking space. It took me an hour to park the car. Because the places they advised me were also fully packed. I had to park 30 minutes away and take a taxi the next day. Don’t advertise with parking spaces you don’t have.
everything very good. thank you the staff
My day was OK, the Q line at the front desk was too long. Only one person behind the desk, elevator was not working cool line was enormous as well as going up as going down and breakfast intensity was absolutely disgraceful, dirty tables, dirty seats, too much people, unorganized, if you are single, and you leave the table to load your plates and you come back, already other people are sitting on your table, it’s a real camping, for that breakfast experience I will not come back
Hotel was really good. Car park was fully booked on arrival but the staff were very helpful in providing multiple locations for where to park. Very friendly and understanding about the need for parking. Only thing to comment on is it would be great if USB charging on both sides of the bed. Apart from that it was great . Location really good. Only a 5 minute walk to the Port Doree metro as well. Great experience. Will be booking for next month!
Great hotel, very stylish and clean, with lots of really attractive space to hang out and relax, eat, drink. Outdoor area was lovely in the sunshine. Not very close to the centre, but in a really nice neighbourhood next to huge green spaces, and very well connected by public transport. Room was good - comfortable bed and good bedding, plus everything you could wish for except tea/coffee which we missed. But the room was incredibly hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working. We had a window but even with that it was a problem, and those with rooms overlooking the motorway probably couldn’t even open a window. This would prevent us from returning in the summer, which is a shame as we loved the hotel.
Hotel was goed, kamer veel te warm, airco functioneerde niet.
Airco didnt work. Instead only heating while airco was needed. Opening window- not an option due to heavy traffic of periferique infront
It was great to stay at Motel One. Great and friendly customer service!!!
excellent value for the money
ROOMS are TINY by US STANDARDS and very, VERY POORLY EQUIPPED: NO frig, NO microwave, NOT EVEN A COURTESY TRAY as in my usual BEST WESTERN PLUS of Orly airport, with an electric teapot AND a NESPRESSO machine on a very BIG desk with 2 comfortable club chairs. BUT I highly appreciate the old, traditional "6 PM COURTESY HOLD" which has been the norm since I started traveling alone in the 1960s, until the new, outrageous, dishonest cancellation fashion of one day before arrival, which I strongly refuse because, every time that my flight has been cancelled (which has happened 20 times in the past 30 years!) it has always been cancelled at the very last moment and never one day before!!! In fact I ONLY chose this Motel One Porte Doree because of the HONEST CANCELLATION POLICY: DAY OF ARRIVAL BY 6 PM and, MOST OF ALL BECAUSE OF THE TRADITIONAL "6 PM COURTESY HOLD" WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD FOR EARLY ARRIVAL, which is the case for those arriving from the US. EXCELLENT AND VERY HONEST CANCELLATION POLICY!!!
very nice and modern hotel and friendly staff, beautiful and calm area, park right next to the hotel
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience my colleague and I had during our recent stay. From start to finish, the service was outstanding, and we truly felt welcomed and valued. A special thank you to Momo from the breakfast team his warmth and attentiveness made our stay so enjoyable. His hospitality truly stood out and added a personal touch to our stay. We would also like to express our appreciation to Bourama, Sophie, and the rest of the reception/reservation team for their professionalism and kindness, which made us feel completely at home. Additionally, we’d like to commend Waren from the bar for his excellent service and friendly demeanor. His efforts were greatly appreciated, and he made our stay even more memorable. Overall, the service we received from all departments was nothing short of a 10/10 experience. The level of care and attention to detail provided by the entire Paris team was exceptional, and we are so grateful for the effort everyone put into making our stay unforgettable. We look forward to returning soon
Very pleasant stay in a hotel with a very good location
Modern and comfortable hotel, close to a metro station so that we were able to explore Paris quite easily. The staff were very nice and helpful and the bar options were great - we loved the toasties for a quick lunch as well!
Very nice and helpful stuff Clean, quiet and good communication connected place
Our stay was really nice, stuff was really friendly and helpfull. We are coming back for sure :))
BON ACCUEIL WEEK END AGREABLE LIT CONFORTABLE
Very good I really enjoyed my stay there
Excellent top
Value for money. Aesthetically pleasing but built cheap. Notably, lots of genuine smiles and people happy to help. Disappointing shower. And toilet didn't flush properly.
Excellent hotel, great location to what we wanted to do and literally right next to the metro.bar was stunning.room was immaculate and very cosy.bed was really comfy.staff were super kind and helpful.would definitely be coming again
Everything was fine except that there was no place to hang a towel.
The room was really nice and has everything you need for a weekend in Paris. The bed and pillow super comfy. It was worthed the price. Drinks at the bar a bit pricey and they did not have ice to make a gin and tonic.
Excellent experience. The hotel is clean, beautiful decorated, rooms are cozy and stylish, beds are comfy. Breakfast has good variety and all the products are fresh. Personell is kind and extremely helpful. The location is very quite and safe. Metro station is about 5min walk and takes you directly to most of the sightseeings. I would definitely choose it again.
The lobby was uncomfortably cold at times, and I would have spent more time there having drinks or breakfast if it had been a little warmer. Otherwise it was good, as usual. I had a nice room high up at the back of the hotel, which was quiet, apart from one night when the guest in the room next to mine must have fallen asleep with his TV on loud. I had to get up, get dressed, go down to reception and get the security man to come up and help me to wake the offending guest and get the TV switched off.
super
Amenities are nice, bed very comfortable, breakfast above average. The lobby is very dark and very black overall, not a good vibe in a grey city if you stay 6 nights like I did. Need a bit of colour. Aside from exceptions ( really nice latino guy I believe, has a natural sense of hospitality), the rest seemed like they had to be there, it felt forced. And I observed for 6 days.
Very clean. Staff is kind, helpful, and efficient. Second time staying at Motel One. We will be back!
Totally Freezing Cold in the “cozy bar” which we had planned on drinking cocktails in ‘all evening’ … as the marketing photographs suggest. We asked them to turn on the heating as everyone was in coats and it was -2 outside… they said they couldn’t. We had to leave and find a local bar. The rooms are tiny, you can hardly walk around the bed. And it’s got no atmosphere…. A concrete block, away from the buzz of Paris …€25 taxi ride The worst choice I ever made
We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. Very friendly staff. Metro station located very close to the hotel.
Thank you very much for your hospitality. Was a great accommodation, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, high quality of ingredients at breakfast. In our next visit in Paris, we know where will stay!
Great place but a few things missing/to improve: - Air conditioning does not allow for cooling, only heating or off. This is frustrating as the rooms get hot at night and I couldn't sleep well. - No queen-sized blankets even though the rooms have queen-sized beds. Unpleasant and not great for couples travelling together. - No kettle and tea/coffee in the room.
Staff 10/10 new towels - not so good. Need more pressure in the shower
It was very nice to stay at the hotel. Nice and service oriented staff. Exceptional bread and fresh cheese.
Good desk service, good clean room, especially appreciate the good breakfast-never change that!
Alles Super!!!
Hotel with convenient location in Paris and good quality for a small price
Easy check-in and comfortable stay.
Like always we had another wonderful time there.
I like your brand (often stayed in Motel One in Germany), I was a bit upset as the reception wanted me to pay with my own card when you had received a VCC to be charged for my stay. I had to show my confirmation and the VCC instructions. Again in the morning, when entering in the breakfast, I was told I would need to pay my breakfast with my credit card.
Every thing was excellent a part from the AC. It was cold in the room!!!!!
Excellent hôtel
Motel One is always our preferred choice when being on City Trips. We got a Voucher for free water but could not benefit from it because the bar was closed in the afternoon and there was only one employees at the reception who had no key to hand out the bottles.
Excellent
Loved this Motel One, the entrance and the atmosphere we're amazing and the breakfast was perfect for me and my friend! The staff that worked there were really welcoming and friendly.
Very smiling and helpful staff. Room quiet even though next to the "perif". Only small improvement is the lighting at the breakfast area that could make thing confusing. Had small parts on my shower (felt like I had to assemble it myself), but it didn't bother me.
very good and comfortabel stay - as always in Motel One !
The MO Paris is located out of the city, but near to the Metro „Porte Doree“. So it is a very good Hotel for a city trip. The location is very quiet and a nice place to relax after sightseeing. Service, room and breakfast is well known MO-Standard.

Location and surroundings

Urban Jungle Vibes
Experience the unique urban jungle atmosphere in our Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée.
Where nature meets urban flair
Bienvenue à Paris! Where the French capital's urban flair intersects with the beloved city park Bois de Vincennes, our design hotel offers the ideal starting point for urban explorers, nature enthusiasts, globetrotters and business travellers alike. The lobby’s design is inspired by the surroundings, greeting you with a vibrant lighting concept comprising Ingo Maurer Butterfly and Flatterby lights and suspended dragonfly chandeliers by Damien Langlois-Meurinne.
The animal theme continues in the design hotel’s reception area. A collage-filled 3D installation by Paris-based street artist Madame Moustache featuring two large elephants sets the scene, complementing the authentic shabby-chic Parisian reception desk. Suspended porcelain lamps by Tobias Grau round off the aesthetic, making the reception area a true delight for design connoisseurs.
These impressions are seamlessly reflected in our rooms, as well: directly above the faux-leather headboard, Madame Moustache creates a romantic, dreamy motif that incorporates the coolness of Parisian street art, establishing a holistic connection between city and nature.
And when you sink into our comfortable box-spring beds, you too will think, ‘La vie est belle!’
After a relaxing night, you can look forward to an extensive breakfast buffet and other nature-inspired/urban designs. The authentic design concept also includes cosy Freifrau and Baxter chairs, arty tables by Draenert and a faceted, mirrored wall.
Visit the bar of our affordable design hotel to feel like you’re in an old French salon. Abstract Forestier chandeliers, a leather-upholstered counter front with classic diamond stitching and extensive wall panelling made of mirror pieces capture the characteristic atmosphere of a French salon.
By the way: thanks to its excellent location in the 12th arrondissement, our design hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the city. From Gare de Lyon or the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower, all of the most important sights are within easy reach.
A different side of Paris: explore the Bois de Vincennes!
The city park next to our Motel One is three times as large as New York’s Central Park and is a popular getaway spot for Parisians looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Here’s what you shouldn’t miss:

A row boat ride at sunset

A quick trip to Asia

A feast for the eyes and the ears
