Great location. Staff welcoming and clean throughout
Having paid for a breakfast, I was really annoyed what Motel One thinks a breakfast is. A dry croissant and some cold meats are not that. Buying a meal deal at Tesco's each morning was much more appetising, that is a real low for any establishment. The room was fine though.
Couldn’t fault our stay. Lovely room, staff and view. Only thing would be when booking a king sized bed not to have 2 mattresses put together but that’s nothing major. Other than that, faultless stay!
Great hotel. Helpful staff. Comfortable quiet room. Lovely breakfast. Very convenient location. Motel One is a reliable choice anywhere.
Great price great location superb staff
Really comfortable stay, staff were all friendly, breakfast area and bar were well managed. We had paid for breakfast which at 930 we didn’t expect there to be much left, but it was well topped up and constantly had people queuing up for. We ordered some cocktails in the bar at night and these were made and brought to our table. My only complaint was our room was right beside the train lines and we felt every train going by. Can’t be helped I suppose with the hotel in the cusp of Central Station, but the vibrations woke us both early. We had booked a night away for a last minute break - and overall we would definitely be back again.
Great room, view and breakfast. Very helpful staff!
Stylish hotel, great facilities and superb location
Excellent service from staff, centrally located and a very clean room as well as a comfortable bed
Very helpful and friendly staff and location is excellent
Hotel clean, room comfortable. Check in and out was simple.
Upon arrival, we were able to check in and allocate room 400. There were no issues with the room or location until we arrived back at the hotel later that evening, to what I can only describe as the worse noise/music I've ever heard. The vibrations from the music made the room shake and I believe this was coming from the night club called 'Platform' which is directly behind the back of the hotel. After several conversations between myself and my Husband, we agreed that we couldn't sleep through the noise and understood that this was potentially ongoing until 3-4am in the morning. After speaking with the shift manager and expressing our dissatisfaction, there was an 1 alternative room available to our specification and we agreed to move to room 841. As this room was facing the back of the hotel like room 400, the manager couldn't guarantee we wouldn't be able to hear the music. There was little empathy regarding the situation other than being told it's been an on-going issue for months and Motel One have complained to Glasgow Council. Given it was around 12:15 in the morning, this isn't what myself or husband wanted to hear after this hotel costing a small fortune for 1 evening. We moved all our belongings from room to room, however the sound of music and vibrations was very much still there. I do not expect to pay £179 for a hotel room where I can't sleep comfortably and not be able to sleep until gone past 3am. As expressed above, there was no empathy, nor anything offered in terms of compensation - i.e. refund/breakfast/vouchers. It was a simple case of move rooms and put up with it. Sent a complaint to the hotel, no response. Save your money and book elsewhere!
A very significant upgrade in service since our last stay, which was not at all good. Well done for listening to your clients.
We've stayed in Glasgow alot at Motel one and never had a bad night untill Saturday. We didn't get sleep as it felt like we were above a nightclub, couldn't sleep with the noise untill past 1am
The room was very overpriced paid for a superior room and it felt like a budget room dirty walls all marked. The hotel foyer was covered in rubbish on the floor when entering, not a good first impression. The room itself was honestly sub standard. The toilet door didn’t lock the walls had drink spilled down the walls that either hadn’t been cleaned or had stained there was scratches from the laps. Not even a desk with a mirror to apply make up or do hair. No fridge. No iron. Definitely not a superior double room.
The staff were lovely, very welcoming. The hotel room was modern and clean. I loved that guests could purchase a sustainable cup. The building was also in a very centralised location near the train station; Ideal. All in all, a fantastic stay at a fantastic price.
Very long check in time. hotel was nice staff were nice. rooms were lovely just a little small but that didn’t bother us. We stayed on the 11th floor and the room was extremely Nosiey at night, very loud music playing all night. it was ok for one night away but doubt i’d choose here over places i’ve been before in glasgow
We we're upgraded to a bigger room which was excellent. The staff were very helpful. However, the bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. I think housekeeping staff should check sink drains if water drains quickly or not.
Friendly staff lovely room with a great view of city
Checking in was a breeze, nice staff, Room good and clean , not too big.. Eu Sockets in UK , very nice. Location perfect in Glasgow , near station. Sadly the room price was Much higher than usual, which makes this stay a moderate one when looking at price/quality
Central, clean hotel. Reception staff were extremely friendly. Our bed was comfortable. Good value for money.
Always a excellent stay
Very comfortable bed, lovely and clean, friendly and helpful staff, everything required for a pleasant stay, great location.
and he staff were cheery, very efficient and helpful. The hotel snd room were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Good location. Things that could be improved - The plumbing was very noisy - when you flushed the loo a loud screechy noise went on for 30 seconds or more. We were unable to connect Android devices to the tv. The price was high in my opinion.
The room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was superb!
Simple online checking, friendly staff and comfortable room.
Well run. Staff excellent
I stay at this hotel on a regular basis, and always have a good experience, but this time was very different. When i tried to check in at around 2pm I was told no one could check in until 3pm, which i thought was strange as surely some rooms must have been ready at 2pm. Anyway I left and went for a coffee, came back at 3pm to be faced with a que of people all the way down the street waiting to check in, it took me over an hour to get my room. I've never experienced anything like this and I travel and stay away for work almost every week. Needless to say I'll be looking for another hotel on my next trip to Glasgow.
Always a relaxing and enjoyable experience underpinned by excellent customer service.
Clean rooms, polite helpful staff. Only one problem was the breakfast was continental only and as a diabetic I was unable to eat it
Because of some local concerts in the Glasgow area circa £100.00 was added to room rates which I thought was unacceptable
A strange hotel. For the price of £110 per night I expected more. Like a clean cup rather than reusable. And the noise from outside is horrendous.
Everything was excellent with the exception of the time it took to check in. Staff were overwhelmed with the number of guests who turned up to check in at 3pm. Queue was out onto the street. Staff did their best and were all still friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job while under pressure. Would definitely stay again.
Poor choice with no cooked breakfast. Rooms a bit small. Air con did not work. No facilities. Staff seemed short especially one girl at breakfast. Food on floor not cleaned up. Noisy at night from outside. Would not recommend
Have stayed here before Plus points are comfy bed, cleanliness, convenient location and decor But - breakfast experience was not good- too pricey and too busy , not enough staff or food Also - No servicing of bedroom unless requested seems unfair for the price we paid
Clean and comfortable room with all amenities. Easy check-in
Brilliant stay. Very comfortable and inviting. Perfect for my meetings
Room was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. My only complaint would be the shower pressure wasnt great.
A lovely stay. The only disappointing aspect was no housekeeping. It was explained at reception that we could request housekeeping which we did early in the morning and it did not happen, The temperature of the room was very hard to control and it was very hot in the room
The staff were very friendly and the lobby/reception & rooms were finished to a high standard, very modern and clean. Breakfast had a fairly limited selection but was tasty. Room was a little on the small side but well equipped with a big TV, safe, and comfortable bed. Overall excellent value for money.
good, central location for town centre, swift and friendly check in, rooms could do with a make-over - more space for storage in bedroom and bathroom, remove carpets! air conditioning very welcome! Breakfast option rather expensive for continental only, dining room rather small and not very clean...
Excellent value for money Very helpful and friendly staff Very clean and comfortable rooms
The room was fine, just a bit small. It was hard to move around.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We came from Cleveland Ohio to see the Punk All Dayer at Bellahouston Park and had a great time in Glasgow!
Loved the hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the lobby area was comfortable and cool, the bar staff were great and prices reasonable (I had a great mojito!) the room was lovely bright and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable so we slept well. The door of the bathroom was a bit tricky to close but the bathroom was pristine. One morning I opted for the breakfast which in hindsight don't think was really worth doing. I booked really last minute and would definitely stay again. I would like to see what offers were available for regular customers as £120 a night is on the pricier side for me, especially as the price does not include the breakfast (as I said it was a last minute booking as our previous accommodation fell through) but all round, staying at this hotel made our stay in Glasgow very restful and enjoyable.
Great stay at Motel One, by go-to when in Glasgow for both work and leisure
Couldn’t connect to TV, toothpaste stains under sink, shoe print marks in shower, red and black stains on bed sheets, ask for EXTRA LARGE double bed and got two singles put together, could feel the mattress split in the middle was uncomfortable, kettle couldn’t reach plug, there was only one white sugar
Rooms were clean and had everything we needed
Love this hotel with great central location. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
