Guests often ask us why they sleep so well in our hotels? Here are our prerequisites for a relaxing night’s sleep:
A COMFORTABLE BED
Our box-spring beds and mattresses are both made by the German sleep experts Breckle. We primarily use the ‘Objekta TFK KS’ Breckle mattress in our hotels:
The barrel pocket springs in this mattress optimally adapt to the shape of your body, while an additional cold foam layer provides additional comfort. It makes no difference whether you sleep on your side, back or stomach – the seven coordinated mattress zones are suitable for every sleeping position.
And what is good for you, is also good for the environment: all the foam is CO2-neutral and the fibre materials are either sustainably produced or have been recycled. In general, only materials that have been screened for harmful substances in accordance with the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® are used.

THE RIGHT BEDDING
Of course, the right bedding is just as important as choosing the right mattress for ultimate sleeping comfort:
so our duvets and pillows come from the Mühldorfer family firm in the Bavarian Forest. The processed raw materials undergo a rigorous selection process, with only organically grown, unbleached and undyed cotton being used, for example. All the finished products are tested and certified before being classified as hypoallergenic and antibacterial.
All our beds come with two types of pillow to cater to the needs of both those who like a soft and those who prefer a hard pillow:
- The ‘Mühldorfer Microloft pillow’ (60 x 80 cm) has a 100% cotton cover and Microloft filling made from polyester.
- The ‘Mühldorfer Imprima Special pillow’ (40 x 80 cm) also has a 100% cotton cover and two types of filling: a down core surrounded by hollow fibre.
- The ‘Mühldorfer Imprima duvet’ filled with silicone-coated fibre balls completes the feeling of well-being.
The fabric used in the pillows and duvets also incorporates a special hydro-transport system – with no chemical additives – thereby ensuring extremely healthy sleeping conditions in both summer and winter, by actively transferring moisture.
