Nice to meet you, Nuremberg!

The Cloud One Nuremberg

My goodness – or, as locals say, “Allmächd!”. Next stop: Nuremberg’s central station. Our cloud has moved on down the tracks to the Franconian metropolis.
Sound familiar? That’s right!  What used to be Motel One Nuremberg-Hauptbahnhof has transformed into The Cloud One Hotel Nuremberg. And now, it has even more to offer.
Close the doors against the bustle of the train station and relax in the lofty heights of the wine bar and lounge. Or venture into our work and meeting space, enjoy events such as “Sounds in the Cloud” and try our wide range of tasty local delicacies. A stopover you’ll be in no hurry to leave!

There’s no need to venture off to faraway places when you have everything you could dream of so close by! Thanks to its central location, all you could possibly need for a pleasant city break or a business trip in the Franconian capital is right on the hotel’s doorstep. On the other side of the Frauentor and Königstor gates, the city centre and its shops await. You’ll also find an abundance of cafés and restaurants for when you need to stop and refuel – the perfect opportunity to try a few of Nuremberg’s famous sausages. If you want to experience the culture that the city has to offer, it’s worth paying a visit to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum or the Neues Museum. North of the Pegnitz river you’ll find Nuremberg’s old town. A stroll across the Fleischbrücke bridge will take you to Hauptmarkt square, the Frauenkirche church and Nuremberg Castle, which is made up of the Imperial Castle and the Burgrave’s Castle. If you happen to be in Nuremberg at Christmastime, the Nuremberg Christmas market is an attraction not to be missed.

Masterful design at The Cloud One

Feel free to have a look around our hotel in Nuremberg and marvel at the extraordinary interior design. Is that Dürer’s Young Hare hopping around? Yes, that’s right! Did you know that Albrecht Dürer was born in Nuremberg in 1471 and also lived and worked here? Our hotel is just a short walk from Albrecht Dürer’s house, which can be found in Nuremberg’s old town close to the Tiergärtnertor gate, and is home to a number of his original works. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer these in our city hotel – but that hasn’t stopped us from taking inspiration for our interior design in Nuremberg from the old master of copperplate engraving. It will thus come as no wonder when you find copper details and snippets of Dürer’s works at every corner of our hotel during your stay. Let old geniuses, new designs and the city of Nuremberg inspire you!
