Excellent location,layout,comfort&breakfast.Excellent value
Beautiful property, excellent location, great value for the money..... But best of all a well trained, friendly, and helpful staff. A young lady named Katrina helped us several times and she is awesome. She exhibits every quality that you could ask for in an employee. Because of the kind and heart-felt service we received from her, we will always look to stay at a Motel One property if possible. Thank you Katrina! I had a lovely stay at motel one. I was only in Edinburgh for a couple of days and motel one made it all the more enjoyable. I would also like to mention the staff who were really personable, friendly and a credit to motel one!
Fantastic location within Edinburgh. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and very helpfull. The room was great value providing everything required for a few days relaxation.
Excellent. Staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. A really lovely stay.
I am really pleased with my stay in your hotel. Everything was perfect.
Right location, proper accommodation, right price. Helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, and properly fitted en-suite. My first experience with Motel One -- and I'll be back.
For me the best point was the staff very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable the room we had was large, modern and spotlessly clean as was the full motel I will definitely com back well done
The interior of the hotel certainly gives a perception of boutique hotel and is far from a budget design hotel as states on the website in my opinion. The room had everything required and little extras like European plug sockets show that time has been taken to care in advance for each guest. The location couldn't be better every staff member we came across was genuine and helpful -even without being asked, help was offered along with a smile and 'good morning or good evening'. Breakfast was plentiful and constantly restocked. All in all a really great stay, thank you
Pleasant surprise. Excellent location, very clean and new, staff very polite
Rooms were small but beds were comfortable and staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. Good service
It was a really nice room and was good to have the air conditioning on. I know the shower gel probably doubled-up as handwash, but I would have preferred a separate soap, otherwise it doesn't seem so clean.
Fabulous hotel with the friendliest staff and the best pillows of all time, would definitely stay again x
the location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the city. a side table in the bedroom would be useful for glasses and watches etc otherwise the rooms were spacious and spotless. the reception staff were extremely friendly both at check in and check out. would stay again.
Ideal location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, super clean room, no noice at night. I can recommend warmly.
Nice, quiet, clean room with a comfortable bed. very central in the city. Eatable breakfast. Special thanks to the kind persons in the reception and my deep Gratitude to the room cleaner! If I come back to Edinburgh I will choose this hotel. Many thanks! Kind regards, Birgitta Wahlström
Very comfortable Hotel, Would have been nice if there had been a cooked breakfast avilable. Also a comment about the mirror in the bathroom it would have been better placed over the sink rather than the loo
Hotel very central. Clean and modern room. Only point for improvement would be entrance to be more visible and directions to reception to be clearer on arrival.
Pleasant friendly staff. Room clean and good size. Comfortable bed and lovely crisp clean bedding. Great location. Overall accommodation was perfect
This was the first time I have stayed in a Motel One and I was very impressed. Excellent service. The room was clean, modern. The bathroom had top quality fittings. The only thing missing was a plug for the razor.
very positive experience. room was cosy, although a little bit narrow for three people. breakfast was fresh and rich. We appreciated mario's kindness
We were very pleased with everything from booking to arrival and check-in, the room and staff friendliness.Thank you
Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staffs. The room is very comfortable and very affordable price. Simply love the helpful and kind staffs.
Hotel was extremely clean and had all the amenities necessary and more. The staff were brilliantly attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. From check in to check out I had a wonderful stay and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Edinburgh after staying at Motel One, Princes.
Extremely comfortable bed, loved the shower, plus room was very quiet despite being so central. Will definitely stay there again. Would love you to update the fish tank though! A loop with a beatiful calm view would be great.
The Motel one team are always polite, cheerful and helpful.
My sister and I spent 5 nights in your Motel One in Edinburgh. I am 75 years old and a very seasoned traveler, being normally used to staying in 5 star hotels all round the World. IBoth my sister and I rate your Hotel/Motel one of the most enjoyable stays we have ever experienced, from the excellent design of your rooms, the comfort of the Beds, the efficiency of your service and most important of all the friendliness and professionalism of your Staff. Thanks for this delightful experience, and if we visit Edinburgh again we look forward to hopefully staying in Motel One which is the Best Located Hotel in Edinburgh, for business and for vacation.
The hotel is such good value. The room is comfortable, immaculately clean and has really good facilities. The staff are charming - welcoming and jolly. I particularly like the way the team servicing the rooms always say hello and smile. I recommend Motel One to all my friends.
The most pleasant friendly staff I have ever met at a hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms spotless and so comfortable. Perfect location. Would definitely recommend.
Great experience friendly staff even though no room service staff brought my bar snack to my room - one thing I did notice was what good quality the glasses were it makes a nice change to drink water from a cut glass tumbler well decorated and no noise from corridors
Really lovely staff. Very good value for money - location very good bang opposite the Balmoral. Nice well sized rooms with free wifi. The only thing is I wish there were some small things the hotel would consider like body lotions in bathrooms (extremely standard practice) and telephones in rooms to contact staff
Motel One Princes Street has everything you need in good quality and no unnecessary clutter. Comfortable bed, good shower, sound proof windows, etc. WiFi and airconditioning as well. A bit more space would have been a bonus but not important, since one is normally not there for more than two or three nights anyway. The reception and bar staff were most helpful and friendly, and the continental buffet breakfast was good, with meats, cheeses, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit salad, bread, rolls, etc., and an excellent coffee machine. I would stay there again.
Great location, ideal when travelling by Tram from the Airport. Enjoyed the Breakfast, especially the smily eggs, good value, & good selection. No shaving point in the Bathroom so need to ensure that you take an adaptor. Silly sink with permanent drain, so wastes water, not very green. Friendly & efficient staff. Tea making facilities, but be warned if you leave the drop down unit open you cannot open the bathroom door fully. Overall good value for money, will use again, just wonder if any of the other Motels have these minor design faults.
As a first time visitor to Edinburgh I was delighted when I arrived in my room. Spacious, comfortable very large bed, tea and coffee making facilities, television and a lovely bathroom with shower. The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent, apart from no hot food. However the continental breakfast was more than enough, I suppose. If I could make one small criticism, and it is a small one...the towels are rather tiny. And although I am not a large person I would have preferred something slightly larger after my shower. However, having said that, they were lovely, white and very fluffy. I would definitely stay here again with it's central location, and I will be recommending it to my family and friends. Thank you for a lovely visit.
I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel, the location and standard of the room was excellent. The room was spotless with everything you need and the free wifi was a great bonus. The only thing I would like to have seen was maybe a soap dispenser in the bathroom but you did provide two bottles of hair and body wash but this does not detract from the stay. We would definitely stay here again. Loved that the hotel is just opposite Waverly Station, very handy. Staff also extremely friendly and helpful
Very comfortable. Absolutely nice personnel. Perfect location in the city.
Ot easy to find as it is not signeds from Princes Street. Not exactly budget at £144.00 per night during Edin. Fest.No real clothes storage space, otherwise just adequate.I feel over-charged and that a max. of £100.00 would still have been a fairer price. Please feel free to re-imburse me!
Lovely rooms, friendly and efficient staff. Great location for Edinburgh!
This place is very nice, especially the location. Right in the middle of the town. Walking distance from the Waverly train station, Pricess Mall, gardens, nice restaurants, and several interesting places. The front desk staffs was very friendly and really helpful. Explaining us nice places to eat and to visit, with some jokes. This is what I called a "Scottish Hospitality." :-) Good job. Keep it that way. The room was very neat and clean, and have a very nice interior design that maximize most of the spaces in it. The only thing that need to be concerned, there was no safe deposit box in the room and in the front desk either. So... it's kind a bothering me to bring with me my valuables while I am going out or just to leave it in the room. Overall, I am satisfied to stay in this place.
The hotel is in an excellent location. On arrival which was before the official check in time the lady Kristina on the desk was very helpful and friendly and arranged one of our rooms to be available to drop off our cases. The room was clean and tidy, and more than adequate for our 2 night stay.
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at your hotel. We were offered an upgrade and a change of bedding arrangements without even asking!! Brilliant!! We will definitely be back..... Soon I hope !!
We were promised Scottish breakfast, but no, no wardrobe in the room and also very small
Und was heißt hier "viel Design"?
Alles in allem sehr gut!
Vielen Dank.
