I first apprreciated the position, very closed to central station and to the city centre. Breckfast was various. Mi room was small but comfortable. To avoid part of the cue, it would be better if check in opens a bit earlier than 3 pm.
Convenient location, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good breakfast. Rooms are not very spacious but this is not problematic since they are furnished in a smart and efficient manner, to fit in everything needed.
I was quite happy with the hotel. Two major things have to be improved. Your rooms on the street are too noisy, and I was disapointed to be wake up at 6 am by the tramways and the noise in the street. (my room was 284). Also, even if your personal is very nice, the waiting time for checking is way too long. I have to underline that all the people from the personal of the hotel I met (in the welcome desk and in the breakfast room) were very very kind. This makes it a great experience to stay at your hotel. As a minor remark, you should note that providing a little more soap for hand washing in the bathrooms would be appreciated. In the room the electrical plugs were not fully funtional. The internet was not also always working, this was not confortable for me as i was on a business travel. Also, not being able to open my window for the reason cited above, I found the room too hot even after trying with no sucess to adapt the air conditionning.
Efficient reception, payment at checkin so no time lost for checkout, fast elevators. Room is in fact rather small but so cleverly designed that this is hardly noticeable. Window can be opened very wide, insulates sound very well. Excellent bed, beautiful bathroom, good water pressure at 5th floor. A little variation in shower water temperature. Good lighting. Extremely clean. Efficient breakfast buffet with the typical continental stuff; very good soft-boiled eggs. GB and American travellers will miss their usual hot breakfast stuff. Good coffee. Very relaxed atmosphere everywhere. The area is a bit of a nightmare to get through when there are too many diplomats / bureaucrats moving around, the police simply block a big part of it and you're stuck. Much easier in the old center. But the individual hotel can do nothing about that.
My first stay here, very enjoyable.
Great hotel at a good location about 10 minutes walking from the city center. It was very clean and quiet. The only drawback was the the room was a little bit small and I was facing internet connectivity issues at night, maybe because many visitors were caming back to the hotel that hour. Of course i suggest staying at this hotel
MotelOne offers really good value for money in Brussels - 111 euro for a good size room plus breakfast. The bar lounge area is impressive and you can get a sandwich late in the evening. Room furniture is minimal but meets needs. If rates stay competitive it always worth considering.
Everything was perfect for us only one hour problem with the WiFi...after that it was realy FAST, the room was clean and comfortable, friendly staf ++++++
Localization was very good and quality of the hotel as well. Breakfast was a little bit messed up because there were too much people and the staff couldn't handle that amount of people but besides that, breakfast was a good deal as well.
Everything was ok. The room was clean, the wifi worked perfectly and when we complained because early in the morning there was noise from the street due to a building under construction we were promptly moved to a very quiet room by one of your very nice girls at the reception. We woud have liked to have an Italian channel on TV.
Good location and good value for money Room not so big but nice and confortable
The room was nice and tidy. The only problem is that I was on the floor where the breakfast was being served I had no shightseeing from my room.
Little pricy for the monicker 'budget hotel' WiFi didn't work at all Hairs of previous renters in bathroom Other than that good hotel
Very well located. Clean, modern, classy. Extremely friendly and corteus staff. Felt extremely welcome and was very well-treated. Lifts for rooms- very important for a heavy suitcase! Internet that worked. Very nice breakfast. Just an excellent stay and excellent experience! :)
The atmosphere at the lobby and garden was very good. Everything at the room was good too except the air conditioning that wasn't working accordingly. During the night for more than once we felt a bit cold despite the fact we had changed the temperature to 25ºC. Nice experience and definitely we will consider this hotel from now on every time we went on travelling.
After a prior great experience at Motel One Essen we came to Motel One Brussels. A big friendly smile at the middle of a very busy check-in at the reception. I think her name was Laurence, gave us a warm welcome. What a good start of our stay!!! We continued our pleasant experience at Motel One. Everything was well organised, friendly, nice looking and very clean. A great place for a good price, great concept but even better with such a staff! We surely will be back soon, so keep up the good work and thank you! Keep expending in Europe, good to have such a place everywhere! The only thing which went wrong was a lack of hot water in the morning, that was a bit inconvenient, especially with such a great rainshower... But still we'll recommend this place to anyone!
Perfect hotel in the city center. Very friendly staff, clean tiny rooms, and nice atmosphere. The breakfast was perfect. The luggage room is safe. I loved the hotel, I would visit another time too. Some negatives: only few breakfast seats, at the main time...and the wifi was sometimes unavailable.
Quiet, clean, affordable, good location, . Very good Clearly to be recommended.
Very good, new hotel, modern, very close to the center and the Central Station. We loved the design. The room was quite small but cosy!We needed some more bath products. We had only shampoo-body shower. And maybe some more hot food at breakfast.
Good location. Rooms a but small but ok.
Very nice hotel, new, smart and comfortable. The room was clean, silent and cozy. People at the reception were friendly and helpful. Only a little technical flaw: the mixer of cold and hot water in the shower was not balanced and water flowed always lukewarm.
At our arrival we stood in line for 30 minutes to check in, pay and take the key of the room. Waiting for 30 minutes it is a "little bite long".........
I think the breakfast room is not wide enough. In fact it was often hard to find space available for sitting down. Maybe the small tables and the sofas should be replaced by larger tables.
The common areas are beautiful, love the design pieces. The staff very friendly. (-) problem with the WIFI and the room was very small.
Excellent friendliness and service at reception.
Nice hotel, close to Central Station and Quartier européen. Clean, new and kindly services. Negative points: too small breakfast room with too less staff to clean up tables, no international broadcast (even no Belgian broadcast in a Belgian hotel...).
Helpfull staff and good breakfast, goog price.
The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. Bed was good and so was the breakfast. Situation was ok. Nothing really to complain. Cheap price and high quality - very welcomed combination.
Motel One Brussels would be a very nice hotel but the check-in procedure is a nightmare (40 minutes waiting time) and the promised WIFI did not work at all. Not recommended if you have to work.
If you could fix the WiFi my experience would have been a straight 10 out of 10. Came back to my room in the evening and the WiFi (which was working before) couldn't connect on any of my devices nor on my friend's phone. Response from reception was that this is because it is a 'busy time' and I should try later. He heard this complaint a number of times before... So please dimension your WiFi to work even when all guests are in their rooms.
The hotel itself is GREAT and in an excellent location with wonderful rooms and great breakfast. A very good value as well!!! The problem is with their lack of communications!!! They state that they have WiFi but it is only available very early in the morning or very late at night as they have VERY insufficient capacity!!! They also have NO ability for family to call the hotel and be connected to you in your room!! There is a phone in the room, but I later find out that you can only call the front desk in the case of an emergency. No incoming calls to the hotel can be then connected to a guest room. So with no WiFi in the evening after a days work there is NO ability to communicate with your family back home!!! That is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! When I asked the front desk about the WiFi problem they said they were aware of it and working on it. The young man then became belligerent when I asked more questions about when it would be fixed. This situation should be made clear on their website! If they get that fixed, then I recommend you stay there!
A bit expensive with regard to the size of the room and the furniture (too small table to work, no boiler to make one tea for instance). On the contrary, the breakfast is quite cheap with regard to what is proposed (but the high table are not that confortable). Atmospher and design are (very) good.
Breakfastroom to small and inconvient furniture to have a breakfast. Very poor equipped businessroom. Furtheron: very fine hotel, good place. Hotel is new and I'm wondering how it will be after a year.
many rooms but nevertheless a nice atmosphere on the groundfloor and decoration is a must...a real success only thing missing is a fridge in the room .Very good bed .Very clean bathroom. Good value for the price. Did not take breakfast because looked bad and cheap... not in accordance with the class of the hotel My request (quiet room with nice view if possible) was not taken into account...I received a room with view on a big container...and worker filling the container at 8 am on a saturday morning...when I complained about it the receptionist just apologised and said....maybe next time it will be taken into account
Nice hotel for a short-term stay. Two aspects needing improvement are: - checking: should be available earlier (from 12:00 to 13:00) and there should be more people attending it. It is unacceptable to face a long waiting file at any time - Breakfast: the hotel should hire more staff to clean the tables. It is hard to find a clean place to seat. Also, I truly believe that they could afford to renew to paper toilet instead of just reusing them.... One thing is recycling, and another is hygiene...
Everything was good; hotel and room facilities, location, nice service and really friendly reception... EXCEPT FOR, one had experience, was the lack of hot water one of the mornings. We had to take a cold shower and it was really unpleasant. No one at the hotel apologized to us despite they know it because we phoned twice the reception...
As allways it has been a joy to stay at one of the many Motel One´s. This time though there were to few service personel during breakfast. Which ment that it was impossible to find a clean table to eat at. Even though I highly recommend this chain of motel/hotels
good position, silent and comfortable rooms.
The rooms are small compare the price,we had "gardenview"on the 7e floor witch is a joke. Hotel is clean but way under staffed, when you want to drink by the bar is beside the extreme high prices also a waiting time because there are just 2 staff. Beside drinks on the bar there is only chips, maybe one is for the star off this hotel? Breakfast is even wurst. only one staff to take your room number, there are way to many seats and in total this is a complete nightmare. please give me a good responce.
The wi-fi connexion is bad and there is no soap in the bathroon (Hands cleanning)
Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel super !
Stockwerk, was wir sehr gut fanden.
Sehr gute Lage in Brüssel.
